| 概要 | Teletandem is a growing practice where a proficient speaker of one language is paired with a proficient
speaker of another, to learn reciprocally using an application such as Skype. In the freest mode of institutional teletandem, it is difficult for co-ordinators to have a clear image of what happens in the voluntary, off-campus, ungraded sessions. It can therefore be difficult to effectively promote and support the practice. This study explores the stories of five Japanese undergraduate students who achieved sustained and meaningful teletandem exchange in this free mode. The findings may help staff promote teletandem in their institutions. |
