| 概要 | Often claimed as being a negative politeness-oriented, the Japanese language nevertheless has various ways to build up amicable relationship with others and create congeniality among conversants. We explored the rapport-building process in Japanese conversation, which had not been researched in a comprehensive way in the past. |
