| 概要 | We looked at English and Japanese conversations, paying particular attention to the listener responses in those conversations. We focused on four types of listener responses: clarification, back-channels, co-constructions and turns of speaking. Our results indicate that although all four types of listener response were found in both English and Japanese conversations, there were differences in the way they were used. |
