概要 This paper briefly explores the lack of food education and environmental awareness among college students, and how the 'Life Gardening' program at Keisen University has become a key pedagogical tool for addressing these issues. In this program, an educational farm serves as an outdoor classroom. With an emphasis on learning the practices of organic gardening, this program helps students to reach a deeper understanding of their coexistence with others, and the cyclical relationship between human beings and nature. Our research indicates that the program is effective for giving students a deeper appreciation of healthier food, instilling a greater awareness of the environment, and making the idea of a sustainable society part of their daily lives.
