| 概要 | The purpose of this study is to investigate the importance of using the framework of the Capacity approach by economist Amartya Sen for public health nursing approaches to reduce health disparities. He specifies the range of living that he wishes to choose as “Capability” and stated that “poverty is deprived not only of low incomes but also of Basic Capability”. . Promising an individual's “freedom” for Capability development is a necessary and sufficient condition to develop the capacity of the community. The Capability approach is an approach to solve complex health problems of people deprived of health by diverse social factors and to give them the power to regain the power to live. Therefore, the Capability approach is useful for reducing health disparities. |
