概要 This paper looks to fit Japanese mimetic vocabulary into the framework of Itô and Mester (1999, 2008). Focusing on the distribution of /p/ in mimetics, it is shown that while exceptional in some respect the distribution mostly obeys the constraints of Japanese phonology.
