The purpose of this study is to draw implications and statistics from inbound promotion through cases of domestic food franchise businesses, based on awareness of the fact. It is critical to develop products regarding food and culture as an important method to increase the number of foreign travelers visiting Japan.
To be more specific, this study reviewed the current status and changes of inbound promotion by using statistical data released by the Japanese government. In addition, this study considered “WASHOKU” which is the Japanese food culture used for tourism resources and studied cases of inbound promotion of food franchises.
