This study on the development and use of interactive online materials in language learning looked into the process of conceptualizing, designing, validating and using thesaid materials to developgrammatical and discoursal competence. Results of the study showed that the interactive online language materials promoted high motivation and cognitive skill, more interaction, learner autonomy, and cooperative learning. As regards the instructional, curriculum, program, and cosmetic adequacy of the materials, the results revealed very high ratings from the subjects. Lastly,the use of online language materials showed higher proficiency in the correct use of verb tenses and discourse competence.
