概要 The main goal of our study was to examine the perceptions of Japanese high school teachers of English of learner autonomy dimensions. These learner dimensions are responsibility, ability and activities. The specific questions we sought to address are: 1.What are teachers’ perceptions of their students’ learning responsibilities?; 2.What are teachers’ perceptions of their students’ ability to perform the learner autonomy-related tasks?, and 3.What are teachers’ perceptions of the activities that their students do inside and outside the classroom?
