概要 | A student with good social skills is a student who has self-control, persistence, mastery orientation, academic self-efficacy, and social competence. These components of social skills are necessary for predicting academic success. Thus, teachers should effectively integrate social skills use and training into the classroom. First, the paper explains the five components of social skills, which are used in the survey questionnaire. The items in the survey questionnaire were pilot-tested to 115 university students and the 20-item tool revealed very high item reliability of .865 ~ .881. Second, the paper provides a guide on how to interpret the five social skills components of the students. Finally, it suggests some interventions for social skills deficits and strengths. |
