概要 This research compared the argumentative strategies of male and female ESL college students in their persuasive essays. argumentative strategies. Criteria were set to identify these argumentative strategies. The hypothesis states that male would employ different strategies and their opinions on controversial issues would be stronger than with their female counterparts, but the results showed otherwise.
