概要 Conference Presentation: This presentation is a comparative study of the approaches to quality assurance within four of the world’s most prominent university systems: China, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States. Analyzing trends in quality assurance through the lens of Walter Powell’s and Paul DiMaggio’s idea of institutional isomorphism, it will look at how higher education in these four countries have led to the adoption of similar mechanisms for assuring quality.
