| 概要 | We investigated the effect of varying frequen-cies and duration of EA during hyperalgesia elicited by carrageenan-induced inflammation. Three hours after the carrageenan injection, a marked ipsilateral inflammatory response ap-peared and PPT decreased significantly. This decrease persisted at least 24 hours after car-rageenan injection. 3 Hz EA (60 minutes) re-sulted in significant increases of PPT, moreo-ver, PPT elevations lasted 24 hours after car-rageenan injection. 3 Hz EA (15 minutes) also induced PPT elevations immediately and 1 hour after the EA compared to that of the con-trol group. However, any other EA did not significantly increase PPT after the EA. These results show that EA produce electroacupunc-ture analgesia (EAA) on carrageenan-induced hyperalgesia. Also these findings suggest that, among the frequencies and duration tested, 3Hz EA (60 minutes) is the most suitable fre-quency and duration on carrageenan-induced inflammation rats. |
