上杉鷹山曰く「為せば成る 為さねば成らぬ 何事も 成らぬは人の 為さぬなりけり」だそうです。とはいえ、やりさえすれば何でもできる訳ではないですが、自分で限界を決めてしまい、やらずにあきらめてしまうのは、やはり愚かなことでしょう。まずは挑戦あるのみ、です。無理せずに、自然体でよいので、頑張りましょう。

学生時代に実験心理学や認知科学を専攻し、特に、視知覚や視覚認知の研究が研究活動の起点であり、これを基礎として、この専門性を活かしながら、視覚情報処理やユーザインタフェースの研究に従事しています。また、これらの研究に従事する中で様々な情報技術に触れたことにより興味の範囲が広がり、デジタルファブリケーションの研究にも従事しています。人間の特性の解明や要素技術の開発で社会にシーズを提供し、特に、要素技術の開発では、最新の技術が普及した未来でどのような技術が新たに必要となるかを発想の起点とした独創的な研究を実施して、社会に貢献しています。これからも、自分の専門性を活かした研究で社会に貢献していきます。
