| 概要 | The participants performed one-leg eccentric cycling twice at two-week intervals, and the vastus lateralis muscle (VL) soreness (DOMS), muscle strength, and nerve growth factor (NGF) mRNA were examined up to 48 hours after exercise. DOMS and muscle weakness that occurred after the first bout were alleviated by repeat bout effects after the second bout. NGF mRNA in the VL also showed a significantly high 24 hours after the first bout, but there was no effect 24 hours after the second bout, indicating that NGF is involved in DOMS in humans. |
