| 概要 | In this paper I discuss how vagueness of expression among Japanese students might affect research data/results, in particular regarding their responses to questionnaires/interviews. In the first section, some examples of the vagueness are described and discussed, and the second section considers how Japanese culture is related to such vagueness. In the final section, I discuss the necessity of being cautious about possible impreciseness of answers from Japanese informants. |
