| 概要 | In this paper we will examine the perceptual verbs ‘miru’ and ‘mieru ’in Japanese. Perception is one of devices which we rely on in collecting information from a context. However, it has not been yet fully clarified what we, languages users, are supposed to see with the uses of these verbs. We will show that there are some semantic constraints on ‘miru’ and ‘mieru’,and that those constraints derive from properties of situations. |
