| 概要 | Through documentation of case studies and statistical analyses, the linkage between disability, poverty and gender discrimination was tested in selected middle income Arab countries that was hit by armed conflicts, including Lebanon, Syria, etc. The evidence indicated that armed conflicts itself added some negative factors towards discrimination of disabled women, including war veterans' privilege, violence based culture, heroism of war victims, in favor of disabled men, at the sacrifice of disabled women. The study shows a few interesting stories of disabled women, living in those places. |
