| 概要 | The study aims at the review and analysis of dynamics among disability, poverty and development from the gender equality point of views in all provinces in Pakistan. It analyzes the causes and consequences of disability in rural and urban communities in Pakistan, based on data collected through documentation such as national census, focus groups, interviews about disability experiences, and observation of existing services and challenges faced by various disable people. It concludes the importance to look into gender inequality dimension of disability and suggests twin track approach of disability, and gender mainstreaming into development strategies and specific empowerment efforts of persons with disability, particularly disabled women and girls as an implementation mechanism of the Rights of Persons with Disability (CRPD) of Pakistan, as a Signatory. |
