| 概要 | This study aimed to identify when PMS(premenstrual syndrome) is most likely to occur, assess its psychological adaptation, understand how adolescent women deal with it or prevent it, and how wellinformed they are about it. The results indicated that adolescent women with PMS or the ones approaching PMS were prone to depression and had low scores on femininity acceptance, self-esteem, and ibasyo. Further, they also experienced decreased social functionality during social activities and in interpersonal relationships. They tried to alleviate the symptoms of PMS by bringing changes in their daily life activities. Additionally, it was revealed that only a small proportion of young women had accurate knowledge of PMS. |
