概要 In Japan, technology education at the upper secondary level is provided in the subject area 'Information Study' by focusing on information technology. This subject area is newly established in the latest revision of the National Course of Studies (NCoS). In this study, the authors are developing a training system to design Information Study lesson plans by using the Instructional Activities Game (IAG) as the platform. The system consists of two sub-systems. The first is the Virtual Lesson Game, which allows the teachers to experience ideal lessons. The other is the Lesson Design Game, which provides the teachers with opportunities to design, perform, and improve lessons in a collaborative learning environment. The system is being evaluated in teacher training courses and will be progressively improved.
