| 概要 | Stresses experienced by child caregivers following the Kumamoto earthquakes in 2016, their anxieties and problems were investigated. It was hoped to identify crisis intervention and supportive methods for child caregivers following future disasters. A survey was conducted in June 2016, two months after the disaster in nursery schools (N=35) of the Kumamoto Prefecture. Participants were requested to describe stresses they had experienced freely. As a result, 54 episodes were extracted. These were classified using the KJ-Method into two major categories: “stress as a childcare-giver” and “stress as a victim”, nine mid-categories, and 12 minor categories. Based on these results, it was considered necessary to take individual, organizational and administrative measures to support child caregivers during disasters. |
