概要 Mindfulness is a technique in which one focuses one's full attention only on the present moment and accepts oneself as one really is without judging it. In this research I conducted an 8-weeks program of mindfulness and examined its content and effects. The degree of a sense of life worth living improved after the program at a statistically significant level although there was no change in the degree of mental health. I used the KJ Method for analyzing participants' opinions in the free description, revealing that their senses were converged into the three groups: “consciousness and emotion”, “the level of arousal”, and “body sensations”. It is considered that acceptance is promoted due to the reduction of experiential avoidance, bringing about positive effects.
