| 概要 | I introduce some studies which investigated parents’ thought and behaviors concerning community sports in Japan. First, we asked parents (N=900) with elementary school children playing community sports and found that many children suffer harassment from their coaches and teammates' parents. Moreover, parents themselves suffer harassment from them.
Second, we investigated what heighten children’s motivation to do sports. It was found that object relationships, which are interpersonal relationships of parents, affect their attitudes toward children through “my-child centeredness,” which in turn affects children’s sport motivation. |
